This perlon loop cord slips easily onto our molding hook, S-hook, panel hook, drop-ceiling hook, or any open hook that can be looped onto, then slide a picture hanging hook onto the cord to hang your pictures. Our deluxe Cam hook is the sturdiest picture hanging hook option for this cord, as it will hold up to 45 lbs.

Each cord is 2mm thick clear monofilament that practically disappears against the hanging surface. The flexible loop opening is 1/2" at the widest point and 1" in length, it will accommodate a cylinder of up to 3/4" in diameter.

Choose from a variety of lengths or select one longer length and roll up the excess and hide it behind your picture frame, or cut to the size desired.

Wonderful for old buildings	April 22, 2019

Living in an 1920s building with molding and having done lot of searching for a good way to hang all my paintings, STAS’ molding hook and perlon cord came out as the best. I’ve been very happy with my purchase.

Sturdy and invisible	September 18, 2017

This cord feels very sturdy, and it is not very visible. In dim light, you'll see it's shadow, but when it's bright, it is hardly noticeable. For me, this length was longer than needed for a normal apt to hang prints/art.

I was skeptical and really wasn't convinced that the Stas Picture Hanging System was the answer, but I also knew our wall couldn't take any more nail holes. My husband on the other hand was completely convinced it would work. OK OK I'll admit it He was right!
Ordering was easy, customer service helpful, communication great, fast shipping, easy installation and finished product looks and works much better than I ever expected.
